Here’s what they mean and what you should do: #### 1. ‘Result Awaited’ * **Meaning:** If your result shows ‘Result Awaited’, it means that your result is still being processed, or has not been fully updated on the portal yet. * **What to Do:** Do not panic. In such cases, it is advised to wait for some time. The university usually updates these results within a few days. Keep checking the website periodically. #### 2. ‘ER’ (Essential Repeat) * **Meaning:** ‘ER’ stands for ‘Essential Repeat’. This means you have not passed in that particular subject and need to re-appear for the exam in that paper. * **What to Do:** If you have an ‘ER’ in any subject, you will need to fill out an examination form for that paper and take the exam again in the next available examination cycle. Keep an eye on the DU SOL website for notifications regarding re-appear exam forms and dates. #### 3. Discrepancy in Marks / Revaluation / Rechecking * **Meaning:** If you believe there has been a mistake in your marks, or you are not satisfied with your score, you have an option to apply for revaluation or rechecking of your answer sheets. * **What to Do:** DU SOL provides a specific window and process for revaluation or rechecking. This usually involves filling an application form online and paying a fee. You should regularly check the official DU SOL website for announcements related to revaluation/rechecking application dates and procedures. ### What Students Should Do Now * **Check Your Result Carefully:** Go through your result for all subjects to ensure there are no discrepancies. * **Understand Your Status:** If you have ‘Result Awaited’ or ‘ER’, understand what it means and plan your next steps. * **Stay Updated for Marksheets:** Marksheets are usually available online first. Keep checking the DU SOL website for updates on when your official mark sheet will be issued or made available. * **Prepare for Next Steps:** If you need to re-appear for an exam or apply for revaluation, be prepared to act quickly once the application window opens. ### Important Points * Always refer to the official DU SOL website for the most accurate and up-to-date information. * Be patient if your result shows ‘Result Awaited’; updates often take a few days. * Note the deadlines for revaluation or rechecking applications, as these are usually strict. * Keep a printout or screenshot of your result for your records. ### Key Takeaways * DU SOL has declared results for 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th semesters (Dec-Jan 2025-26 exams). * Results are out for BA Programme, BCom Programme, BA Hons Political Science, BA Hons English, and BCom Hons. * Check your result on the official DU SOL website using your Roll Number and Examination Roll Number. * Understand ‘Result Awaited’ (wait) and ‘ER’ (re-appear in next exam). * Options for revaluation/rechecking are available for mark discrepancies. ### FAQ * **Which courses’ results are declared?** Results for BA Programme, BCom Programme, BA Hons Political Science, BA Hons English, and BCom Hons (for 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th semesters) have been declared. * **How can I check my DU SOL result?** Visit the official DU SOL website, go to the ‘Results’ section, click on the relevant UG result link, and enter your Roll Number and Examination Roll Number. * **What does ‘Result Awaited’ mean on my DU SOL result?** ‘Result Awaited’ means your result is still under processing or not fully updated.
