- DU SOL 1st & 3rd Semester Result 2026 – Latest Update
The Delhi University School of Open Learning has already declared 5th and 7th semester results, and now the focus has shifted to the remaining NEP semesters – 1st and 3rd.
Students have been waiting for clarity on result dates. Based on current release patterns and internal processing, the results are now in the final stage.
Current Result Status (Important)
- 5th Semester → Already Declared
- 7th Semester → Already Declared
- 3rd Semester → Under processing (near release)
- 1st Semester → Partially expected, full release later
This clearly shows that SOL is releasing results in phases, not all at once.

Expected Result Date (Realistic Timeline)
3rd Semester Result
- Expected: Within April 2026 (end of month)
- Timeline: 1–2 weeks window from now
- Likely to be released for all courses together
1st Semester Result
- Partial results: May come along with 3rd semester
- Full result: Expected by early May 2026
Why Results Are Delayed
This delay is not random. SOL follows a pattern:
- One semester result is released
- Then a short gap (1–3 days or more)
- Then next batch is released
Also:
- NEP courses involve multiple components evaluation
- Results are processed in bulk batches
- Final verification takes time
How DU SOL Is Releasing Results
Pattern observed:
- Results are not coming course-wise randomly
- They are being released semester-wise in clusters
- Once started, complete semester results drop quickly
This means:
- Once 3rd semester starts releasing → most courses will follow quickly
What Students Should Do Right Now
Instead of just waiting:
- Keep checking official portal of University of Delhi
- Ensure:
- Roll number is correct
- Login details are ready
- Stay prepared for:
- Server issues on result day
Important Advice (Based on Past Trends)
- Do not panic if result is not visible on first day
- Sometimes:
- Some courses appear later
- Portal takes time to stabilize
Wait at least 24–48 hours before assuming any issue.
What Happens After Result
Once your result is declared:
- Download scorecard immediately
- Check:
- Subjects
- Marks/grades
- If any issue:
- Apply for correction or revaluation
Final Take
The DU SOL 1st and 3rd Semester Result 2026 is now very close. The system is clearly following a staged release pattern, and students can expect:
- 3rd semester results by end of April
- 1st semester results by early May
At this point, it’s not about “if” but “anytime now.” Stay ready and avoid last-minute confusion.
