At present, DU SOL has not officially started the admission or re-registration process for students moving into the:
- 3rd Semester
- 5th Semester
- 7th Semester
The ongoing examination process and evaluation work are currently the priority.
Only after the university publishes the required semester results is the next admission cycle expected to begin.

The exact schedule will be released through the official DU SOL admission portal.
Why Has DU SOL Not Started Admissions Yet?
Many students are asking why admissions have not started.
The primary reason is that the university generally follows this sequence:
- Semester examinations conclude.
- Answer sheets are evaluated.
- Results are declared.
- Students become eligible for promotion.
- Re-registration for the next semester opens.
Because of this process, admissions usually do not begin before the relevant semester results are available.
What Will Happen for 7th Semester Students?
Students moving from the sixth semester into the seventh semester under the NEP framework may receive an additional option during admission.
They may be required to choose whether they wish to:
- Continue into the fourth year.
- Exit after completing the undergraduate programme (where applicable under NEP provisions).
The university is expected to provide complete instructions once the admission portal is activated.
How Will DU SOL Re-Registration Work?
The next semester admission process is expected to remain online.
Students will likely need to:
- Log in using their SOL credentials.
- Verify personal details.
- Confirm promotion eligibility.
- Pay the semester fee.
- Submit the online admission form.
Students with backlog papers may also receive the option to fill examination forms for pending subjects according to university rules.
Documents Students Should Keep Ready
Before the admission process starts, students should keep the following ready:
- SOL Login Credentials
- Enrollment Number
- Mobile Number
- Email ID
- Passport Size Photograph (if required)
- Payment Method for Online Fee Submission
Preparing these documents in advance can help complete the admission process without delays.
Important Advice for Students
Until DU SOL officially releases the admission notification:
- Avoid relying on unofficial admission dates.
