Right now, most DU SOL students are confused.

Regular Delhi University colleges have started releasing results, and naturally, SOL students are asking one thing:

**“Has our result already come… or are we still waiting?”**

Let’s cut the noise and understand the actual situation.

---

## Current Status (No Confusion)

* DU SOL has **NOT released** Semester 1, 3, 5, or 7 results for 2026 yet
* No official notification confirms result declaration
* Any claim saying “result out” is **not verified**

Simple reality:
If it’s not on the official portal, it’s not released.

---

## Why You’re Seeing So Much Confusion

* Regular DU results are coming out
* Social media is full of “result soon” claims
* Students expect SOL to follow the same timeline

But that’s not how SOL works.

---

## Truth: SOL Results Always Come Late

This is not new. It happens every year.

* SOL evaluation takes longer
* More administrative processing
* Larger volume of students

So comparing SOL with regular DU is a mistake.

---

## Expected Timeline (Based on Real Pattern)

### If your exams ended earlier (Dec–Jan)

* Expected result window: **April 2026**

### If your exams ended later (February)

* Expected result window: **May–June 2026**

This follows the typical **3–4 month evaluation cycle**.

No fixed date yet — only realistic estimates.

---

## Important: ER (Back) Result Update System

Most students don’t understand this part.

### What is ER?

ER includes:

* Back papers
* Failed subjects
* Absent exams

---

### How ER Results Are Actually Released

There is **no separate ER result announcement in most cases**.

Instead:

* Your ER result gets updated **with your current semester result**
* It appears inside your **main marksheet**

---

### Example

* You’re in 5th semester
* You gave ER for 1st or 3rd semester

When 5th sem result is released →
Your 1st/3rd ER result updates **at the same time**

---

## The Star Mark Trick (Most Important Check)

This is how you confirm your ER result:

* Open your marksheet
* Look at the subject

### What it means:

* ⭐ Star visible → Result NOT updated
* Star disappears → Result UPDATED

This is the simplest and most reliable way to check.

---

## Why Students Panic Unnecessarily

* No separate ER result notice
* Marks don’t change visibly
* Students fail again and assume result didn’t come

Reality:
Result is already updated — you just didn’t read it correctly.

---

## What You Should Do Now

### 1. Stop Checking Random Sources

Most updates online are guesses, not facts.

### 2. Start Checking From April

Before that, it’s pointless.

### 3. Check Smartly

When result comes:

* Open marksheet
* Look for star mark
* Verify subject-wise

---

## Ground Reality

* SOL is slow, but consistent
* Results will come — just not instantly
* There is no shortcut, no hidden early access

---

## Final Summary

* Result not released yet
* April–June is the realistic window
* ER results come with semester results
* Star mark = key indicator
