If you are a student of Delhi University School of Open Learning, this is not just another update. This is a time-sensitive notice that can decide whether you sit in the upcoming exams or miss the opportunity entirely.
This post breaks down the latest official update in simple terms so you don’t ignore something critical.
1. Special Chance for 2019 & 2020 Batch Students
DU SOL has issued an important notice for students who took admission in:
Get:
- Exam & assignment alerts
- Result and notice updates
- Study guides & PDFs
- Important student information
- 2019 batch
- 2020 batch
Who does this apply to?
- Students with incomplete degrees
- Students who have backlogs (2nd, 4th, or 6th semester)
- Students who want to reappear in exams
What is the opportunity?
You are being given a special chance to complete your degree by appearing in upcoming exams.
But this is not automatic.
2. Mandatory Step: Application Submission (Critical)
Before you even think about filling the exam form, understand this:
You MUST submit an application first.
Deadline:
- Last date: 24 April 2026
This deadline has already been extended once.
No further extension will be given.
If you do NOT submit:
- Your exam form will NOT open
- You will not be allowed to appear in May–June exams
If you DO submit:
- Your exam form link will activate
- You can fill the form and appear in exams
This is a strict rule. No shortcuts.
3. Where to Submit the Application?
You need to submit the application physically at:
- DU SOL Head Office
- North Campus, Delhi
- Near Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station
- Address: 5, Cavalry Lane, Delhi – 110007
No online workaround is mentioned in the notice.
If you delay, you lose the attempt.
4. Important Notice for BA Program Semester 4 Students
Another update applies specifically to:
- BA Program Semester 4 (Male Students)
What changed?
- PCB Classes rescheduled
- New date: 20 April 2026
If this applies to you, check the official notice section and adjust accordingly.
5. Why Most Students Fail Here
This is where many students make mistakes:
- Ignoring notices assuming “not for me”
- Waiting till last date
- Trying to fill exam form directly
- Not informing friends/family who might be affected
This is exactly how students lose a full academic year.
6. What You Should Do Right Now
Do not overthink. Execute:
- Check your batch (2019/2020 or not)
- Confirm if your degree is incomplete
- Identify pending/backlog subjects
- Visit DU SOL office before 24 April
- Submit the required application
- Only then fill exam form
7. Final Reality Check
This is not a casual update. It is a final window.
- No application = No exam form
- No exam form = No exam
- No exam = Degree stays incomplete
If you or someone in your family falls into this category, act immediately.
