DU SOL UG Admission 2026 Starting Soon? Expected Date, Courses & Latest Update

“When will DU SOL UG Admission 2026 start?”

While Delhi University has not yet announced the official registration date, recent developments suggest that the admission process may begin very soon.

Here’s everything students should know.

DU SOL UG Admission 2026 May Begin This Week

According to the latest updates available, DU SOL has already completed much of its preparation for the 2026 admission cycle.

Some important developments include:

• Admission prospectus has already been released.
• Fee details for undergraduate courses are available.
• Admission guidelines are being finalized.
• The remaining step is administrative approval before registrations open.

Although DU SOL has not confirmed an official date yet, admissions are widely expected to begin shortly after the final approval process.

Students should keep their documents ready instead of waiting for the registration link to go live.

UG Courses Expected Under DU SOL Admission 2026

This year’s undergraduate admission is expected to include:

• BA Programme
• BA (Hons) (selected subjects)
• B.Com Programme
• B.Com (Hons) (subject to availability)
• BBA
• BMS
• B.Sc Computer Science (newly introduced programme)

The introduction of B.Sc Computer Science has attracted significant interest among students looking for flexible technical education through distance learning.

Why Has DU SOL Admission Been Delayed?

Many students noticed that admissions have not started even though July has already begun.

Some likely reasons include:

• Approval process for the new academic session
• Coordination with Delhi University’s regular admission schedule
• Completion of CBSE and other board-related admission formalities
• Administrative processing before opening registrations

Historically, DU SOL admissions usually begin after the regular DU admission process moves forward.

So, a slight delay is not unusual.

Should Students Be Worried?

No.

At this stage, there is no indication that admissions have been cancelled or significantly postponed.

Instead of worrying, students should use this waiting period wisely.

Prepare:

• Class 10 marksheet
• Class 12 marksheet
• Aadhaar Card
• Passport-size photograph
• Signature
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Income certificate (where required)
• Active mobile number and email ID

Having everything ready will help complete registration quickly once the portal opens.

Who Can Apply?

Students who have passed Class 12 from a recognized board are expected to be eligible for various undergraduate programmes offered by DU SOL, subject to the eligibility criteria of each course.

Admissions are generally based on qualifying examination marks rather than an entrance examination for most undergraduate programmes.

Students should carefully read the official admission bulletin once released.

Is There Any Entrance Exam?

For most undergraduate programmes offered by DU SOL, admissions are generally conducted without an entrance examination.

Eligible candidates usually apply online through the admission portal, upload documents, complete verification and pay the admission fee after approval.

However, applicants should always verify course-specific requirements once the official admission notification is released.

What Should Students Do Right Now?

Instead of repeatedly checking the website every hour, students should:

• Keep scanned documents ready.
• Check eligibility for their preferred course.
• Decide which programme they want to pursue.
• Ensure their email ID and mobile number remain active.
• Follow only official DU SOL updates and avoid misinformation circulating on social media.

Being prepared often makes the admission process much smoother.

Final Thoughts

The wait for DU SOL UG Admission 2026 appears to be nearing its end.

With the admission prospectus already available and preparations largely completed, undergraduate registrations for BA, B.Com, BBA, BMS and the newly introduced B.Sc Computer Science are expected to begin soon after official approval.

Students should avoid panic, keep their documents ready and wait for the official registration announcement instead of relying on rumours or unofficial dates.

Once the admission portal opens, applications can usually be completed online from home.
