Many students are confused, anxious, and unsure whether these files are genuine or just another online scam. So, is the NEET leak PDF circulating on Telegram real or fake? ## Short Answer As of now, students should treat every so-called “NEET leak PDF” on Telegram, WhatsApp, or social media as unverified unless confirmed by official authorities. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has repeatedly warned candidates against trusting messages claiming to offer leaked question papers or advance access to exam content. Multiple reports and fact-checks have identified many of these claims as fake or misleading. Students have also been targeted with paid scams promising access to question papers. ## Why Are So Many Telegram Channels Claiming They Have the Paper? Most Telegram channels use a simple strategy: * Share screenshots that look authentic. * Claim insider access. * Ask students to pay money. * Promise “100% original paper.” * Delete or edit messages later. Recent reports have highlighted how Telegram message editing features can be misused to create the illusion that a question paper was uploaded before the exam when it may have been edited afterward. This makes screenshots alone unreliable evidence. ## What Has NTA Said? The National Testing Agency has warned students and parents not to fall for social media claims about leaked papers. According to official advisories, messages claiming that the NEET question paper is available for sale or early access are false, fraudulent, and intended to mislead candidates. The agency has urged students to rely only on official announcements. The NTA has also stated that nobody can access the official question paper before the scheduled examination time. ## Fact Check: Are The Viral PDFs Authentic? Several viral PDFs circulating on Telegram have already been flagged as fake by authorities and independent fact-checkers. A recent government fact-check rejected claims that a question paper circulating online was proof of another NEET leak and advised candidates not to trust or share unverified examination content. This does not mean students should ignore legitimate investigations into exam security. However, a random PDF appearing on Telegram is not proof that an actual leak has occurred. ## Why Students Are Worried The concern among students is understandable. After controversies surrounding exam security, every screenshot, PDF, or forwarded message quickly spreads across social media. Many aspirants fear that others may gain an unfair advantage. Online student communities have reported seeing numerous Telegram channels claiming to possess the paper, while many users believe these groups are primarily designed to attract subscribers or collect money from desperate students. ## How To Identify A Fake NEET Leak PDF Be cautious if a channel: * Demands payment. * Promises guaranteed questions. * Shows only screenshots as proof. * Uses edited messages as evidence. * Claims exclusive access through insiders. * Pressures students with countdown timers. These are common scam tactics used during major examinations. ## What Should Students Do? 1. Ignore paid paper leak offers. 2. Do not share personal information. 3. Avoid sending money to Telegram channels. 4. Verify every claim through official sources. 5. Focus on preparation instead of rumors. A fake PDF can waste valuable revision time and increase stress levels before the exam. ## Final Verdict Most “NEET Leak PDFs” circulating on Telegram should be treated with extreme caution unless verified by official authorities. While investigations into exam-related allegations may continue, viral screenshots and Telegram files alone are not reliable proof of a genuine paper leak. Students should rely on official updates and avoid falling victim to scams that exploit exam anxiety. **Bottom Line:** If someone claims to have the NEET paper before the exam and asks for money, assume it is a scam until proven otherwise. **Enjoyed this?** Share it with others S ### [Sushant Kumar](https://thesushant.in/author/sushant/) Founder As a current B.Com (Hons) student at DU SOL and an active Chartered Accountancy (CA) aspirant, I understand the exact pressure, syllabus confusion, and administrative hurdles students face daily.
